there's generally not enough time durring the Q&A session, it's usually about half an hour. Chase MAsterson sang the whole time last time I saw her, and some sing during a separate performance

depends on how many there are, if there are less they get longer

It can also depend on the guest as well. Some might get 60 mins others only 30 mins. After all fairly often the guests still have signing sessions, photo sessions etc..
