It may be Trek-like in name only, but I just wrote an article about this device over at my day-job and thought I'd share it with my friends at the BBS. The inventor/developer of CommBadge chatted with me about the origins, purpose, and future of the little device. Those concerned I'm advocating for the product should check my post history: I'm not a spambot or a shill.
That said, I'd be lying if I told you I didn't want one. Call me easily swayed by geekery, but I'm tempted to pre-order. Any time I get to write about the current state of mobile technology getting closer to Trek-tech, I'm pretty pleased. And I've wanted a combadge since I was like ... ten.
Anyway, enjoy!
