Wasn't Scott Bakula in the audience? Or was that a different "roost" where I saw him?

He was there for Bob Saget's roast.

As for Lisa Lampinelli, I can't stand her at all. I like that a lot of Shatner's friends were roasters or in the audience, but she adds nothing but cheap "humor." For all of Shatner's camp, he's in on the joke, is more nuanced and smarter than he lets on, and he doesn't talk down to you the way Lampinelli does.

Overall, I think that Shatner's roast was one of Comedy Central's weaker ones.

That said, when Patton Oswalt handed Bill a paper bag and asked him if he could act his way out of it... I about pissed myself from laughing.

As for Lisa Lampinelli... I think she's funny in small doses. the Roasts are perfect for her. I tried to watch an hour long special and after about 15 minutes it became grating and repetitive, IMHO.
