It looks like Romulans keeping them imprisoned, not Starfleet. Pointy ears and what looks like forehead tattoos on the guards.

Maybe the girl is meant to be the new Borg queen, but doesn't know it yet. She feels safe around Locutus, that's for sure.

That trailer was spectacular. I already wanted to like the show and was cautiously optimistic, but now I'm just beyond hyped. The only negative is that the show isn't out for me to watch right now

Yeah I'm think she was drawn to Picard because he was once Locutus.
