Wow, I never expected Hugh to actually appear in a show again. He did show up in one of Post-Nemesis books, Greater Than the Sum, and I figured that was the last we'd see of the character.

There were rumours of Spiner’s involvement just a few weeks back, but I certainly didn’t expect Seven or Hugh to appear. With all the focus on Romulus nobody really predicted any kind of Borg storyline.

Maybe..just maybe..ST09 is getting the big 'ignore'

No, because it has an actual cast that we've seen. These will all be guest appearances / cameos, or flashbacks (or both)

Technically they said they wouldn't just put them in unless it made sense for the story.

Just waiting on the trailer. I wish they were a little more fixed on the dates and not the generic coming in fall or 2020.

And also waiting for Creation to list more guests. God I'm hoping Jeri Ryan actually does appear this year in Vegas, even though she has her every other year policy and she was there last year.
