But there is nothing to connect 7 of 9 to TNG. Why would Jeri Ryan come back to the role if it's only flashbacks.

Welp, they've delayed it by 2 months maybe. I was so hoping it would come this winter.
Sorry to go back for a minute, but I just saw the cast for Lower Decks, and I'm pretty happy with what we they showed. I was a little surprised it's actually set after Nemesis, I was expecting it to be set back in either the same time as TOS or TNG.
I like the art style, it fits in pretty well with Rick and Morty and the other adult animated comedies out there right now.

Perhaps this means the rescue armada was all borg related, and Hugh/Data/Seven appear in flashbacks, like in "Arrow"
