College Football 2025: Where's My NIL Money?

Things keep getting crazier in Michigan.

I kinda take issue with the author of the article saying that Moore should have known better than to engage in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member; however, he also says that Moore is dealing with mental health issues before he was hired as head coach.
What if his mental health struggles were affecting his judgment and he didn't know better.

The article wasn't very good, IMO. Author seemed more interested in social causes than Sherrone Moore.

The affair was conducted "for a number of years," so it probably dates to Harbaugh's tenure.

It's also strangely reverent of Moore in particular. There are other role models for young coaches worried about succeeding, e.g. Marcus Freeman, who led his team to the national title game last year and is being courted by the NFL.

That prayer and a nickel still gets Moore's family jack shit...

The best hope they have is that they not only saved money (bc he was fired for cause) but that this also goes to some type of pre-trial diversion where he can enter a program for mental health and whatever other issues he has so he can remain in his children's lives and financially support them while serving out some sort of punishment and treatment plan.

He pulled a Bobby Petrino only he compounded it with his meltdown after. I don't know him well enough to know whether or not this was obsessive-boyfriend abuse or whether losing his mistress and job at the same time cracked him but it appears there was a healthy dose of obsessive boyfriend involved or she never would've gone to the admin about it.

Ohio fires head coach Brian Smith for cause, but no specifics were given. They just said it was serious professional misconduct.

The Miami kicker has become the only kicker to miss three field goals in a college football playoff game. Also, the score is 3-0 nearing the end of the third quarter so he also the current game MVP.

Look up Lincoln University in Oakland. They have a football program that people are calling the Bishop Sycamore of college football. They've gone 3-47 in 5 seasons, have no home games, do red eye travel, players don't get water or medical attention, they've had to cancel games -- sometimes the day before the game -- and also don't even have a schedule for 2026. They basically got paid to get their asses kicked, but where did that money go?

At the Pinstripe Bowl they're trying to get the clock operator to add 8 seconds to the clock and it's not happening. So they're just standing around.

I thought if there was a problem with the scoreboard they just kept time on the field?

Georgia Tech…what the hell was that?!

Terrible second half play, and really terrible clock management on the final drive.

The first bowl game of the day, didn't really watch it, but ESPN sure tried their hardest to not show the crowd. Except for punt and kick, which would be impossible not to show the bleachers.
