I will state that when I don't have any Coke in the house I'll go for some Dr. Pepper. It's my second favorite pop. Followed by Sprite. When I was a kid though I was a HUGE Orange Crush fan. It was pretty much the only pop I ever drank.
I will allways love coke but when you need a breake now and then I go mountin dew . also love a&w as rootbeer . and If I am out at a bar a sam adams or a budwiser or even crown royal . tonight it's mountin dew!!!!!!
I loved New Coke. I'm still upset they took it off the market...
Seriously though, it depends really. When I'm looking for something sweet I'll go with Pepsi, but most of the time I prefer Coke.
I was wondering what it was and found this... never heard of it before, but it sounds pretty good.I do like the occasional root beer or Italian soda though.
Yeah, being bitter and kinda lemony is weird for a soda, but it's very thirst-quenching (something I can't get from Cola or Pepsi, as both are too sweet).I've had Brio Chinotto. It's pretty good.
<snip>
Pepsi is vile.

Whenever someone went back home to visit, they were required to bring back Mike-Sells potato chips, Coca-Cola and Barq's Cream Soda! No one has done that in years, but I am sorry the formula has changed for you, too.Back home in Ohio Coca-Cola had more bite to it. The Southern formula is sweeter and I do not like it. I was diagnosed with diabetes about six years ago. The diet versions use aspartame so I do not drink them. We used to have Coke with Splenda, but it was short lived.
Food Lion, our local grocery which is headquartered in our little town, uses Splenda (sucralose) in their diet drinks which taste very good and cost less than national brands. These are the only drinks I buy, except for caffeine-free Coke which I keep on hand for my brother's visits.
Yep. Once I became Diabetic, I stopped drinking Coke. The diet version is disgusting. For a while, I drank diet Pepsi, and now I don't drink any of them. I do live in Ohio, and yeah, Coke had more bite, but I don't think it's true anymore. The last time I did drink it, it just tasted too cloying and sweet.
FACT: It takes the human body (and mind) at least 3 weeks to adjust to a new taste. For anyone wanting to switch to diet or another drink, use it for 3 weeks. When you try going back to the old drink or food, it will not taste "right". Incidentally, this is why most dieters fail. They do not give their body time to adjust to the change, consequently they fail.Diet Coke for me, the regular stuff tastes nasty. Probably because I'm not used to it though![]()
