Classic Superman villain to appear on Smallville *SPOILERS*

Chris3123

...later this season. Without further ado, it's:

Toyman (Winslow Schott). Personally, I never thought they'd bring him to Smallville. He seems a bit too over the top for a live action show. Anyway, Winslow Schott will be a
former Queen Industries employee who bombs LuthorCorp after the Queen/LuthorCorp merger

What do you all think of them bring Toyman to Smallville? :)

I wasn't completely surprised by it, but I could have thought up some better enemies to bring over. I wonder if Mxy has his powers back...

Just wanted to add in (I can't update my original post for some reason) that he appeared on Lois & Clark.

Played by Murphy Brown's boss in the final episode, if memory serves.

Edit: I just looked it up. It was the second to last episode. So close there...

errah!

Unless the Towman has some really really fantastic toys, this is really letting the side down after seeing the persuader and Doomsday opening a can of Whip-ass on Clark.

Judging from the description in the spoiler above, the "toys" seem like they will be more like gadgets that will have some kind of destructive power. This is pure speculation on my part.

Wikipedia says there were two Toymen on the show. Personally its been so long since I last saw the show that I hardly remember either of them.

I know he was just a Lois & Clark invention, but BRING BACK TEMPUS! Preferably with Lane Davies in the role!

Wikipedia, you say? Well, I'll just edit that to reflect my facts.

I'll edit lots of things... :shifty:

:p

I was personally glad when the child-murderer Toyman was retconned out of recent comics. Nothing to do with such a character except do what Supes would never do.

IIRC, the L&C version played by Murphy Brown's Grant Shaud hued close to the pure psycho interpretation, kind of like if Murphy had finally pushed Miles too far, and he had no antacids on hand.

Yeah,
Yet another superman villian raped for Smallville. Just so they can make the show as Superman as possible without ever showing Superman...:shifty:

So why is Smallville getting all the hype and the movies aren't going so well? :( I love Smallville but I wish the movies would do better, too.

Lois & Clark's first Toyman, aka Mr. Schott, was played by Sherman Hemsley, with Isabel Sanford as his sidekick. It was a Christmas episode, appropriately. Grant Shaud played a different Toyman.
