It seems like Earth has no shortage of Planet-side Transportation Options for civilians.

Everything from:
- Public Transporters
- Anti-Grav based (Air Cars | Sky Cars)
- Shuttles
- Hover Cars (Limited Anti-Grav power output to float single digit {cm/inches/foot/yards/meters} above the surface)
- Regular Cars
- Horses
- etc.

Almost everything is viable on top of having Transporters.
Obviously the energy cost to operate each form of Transportation will vary drastically along with maintenance costs to continually operate them.

It makes you wonder, what other forms of Planet-side Transportation would be popular.

I'm betting traditional "Lift-Based" Aircraft will still have a place alongside small Anti-Grav units for VTOL capability. With Ducted Electric Fans being highly efficient way to move a massive amount of air to propel your aircraft, we could see Aircraft finally be cheap enough for the average person with Run-Aways reduced to being a part of history with every 24th century and above aircraft be VTOL in nature and gradually turn off the Anti-Grav units while Lift takes place.

Obviously the Transporter System would be the "Fastest & Safest" way to cross vast distances at the expense of massive energy costs for a short period of travel.

But not everybody would want to spend their Energy Credits on Transportation that is that expensive, slower forms of Transportation would work just fine and still get a person from A to B in a reasonable amount of time with very reason-able safety factors.

Walking. Most journeys are short distance and people wo'n't see the need to use powered transport at all.
