CinemaSins 'Sins' TSFS

I enjoy Cinemasins. I find the videos that top out at around 5 minutes are better, as it lets them get the big nitpicks and jokes in, without going too deep. Like Skyfall, their best video. They had a little stretch where they started doing like 40 minute videos, I'm glad they stopped that and shortened them somewhat.

40? Try 20.

A year or two ago when they were trying new formats and videos they did a bunch of two part sins videos that were about 20 min apiece. One of the transformers ended up closer to 50 minutes I think.

Edit: OOPS, Transformers was one of the long two partners but it was 33 minutes

Cinema sins is an ok concept somewhat ruined by the fact that a lot of their fans seem to think it's serious critique that could actually be used to make better movies. That's the internet for you.

Seriously, you could take apart even the best movies with that technique.
"Jimmy Stewart sure can find those flash bulbs quickly in the dark." Bong!
"Charlie falls 500 feet, gets up and dusts himself off! He should be dead." Bong!

They've done some really good (Empire Strikes Back, Batman, Toy Story Trilogy) and great (Jaws) movies. I love their videos. They're very silly but smart.

...and they do. They intentionally did their own favourite movies way back when the channel was new. It's a joke.

I miss the videos where they have a doctor list the injuries incurred by the main character and how many times he / she should have died before the end.

I always enjoy Cinema Sins as it parallels many of my own thoughts when watching films. It's all supposed to be lighthearted fun and not taken too seriously. :)

I watched one for a bit and there was something like 'boom mike visible' and I turned it off. I loved the Nitpickers Guide to Star Trek: Whatever Series books but only the parts where it was explaining things like logical gaffes not Picard has a stain in one scene and not the next.
