What can I say, another totally awesome episode. This has been my favourite show for a while now. I'm actually doing something that I've never done before, I rewatch every episode before the next one airs. :D

And yeah, Casey and the whole choir boy thing had me laughing my ass off. :guffaw:

I still think Chuck is still in love with Sarah and him getting together with Jill is just a way of not dealing with it (and not being alone). Did you guys notice that little moment when they were in the shower and Sarah had her back towards Chuck? ;)

Yeesh, is every women Chuck gets near going to be an evil agent? I wouldn't be shocked if his sister turned evil ;)

Poor Casey, I know he wants to shoot both Chuck and Sarah and be done with it.

VOGON POETRY REFERENCE! YES! :D

And I just knew that that the countdown timer in the opera house would stop at 007 - I love those little touches! And the hotness that the girls brought was a cheeky bonus.

Jill being Fulcrum was predictable, but I liked the reveal. And Morgan is the man! This show keeps getting better and better.

:D

I still think there's more to the whole "Jill is a Fulcrum agent" thing than meets the eye. Honestly, it would be way too easy. My prediction is that Jill isn't one of the bad guys. So the reason she'll leave the show (whenever that will be) is that Chuck will realize his feelings for Sarah.

But hey, that's just my opinion. Due to the fact that I'm a huge Chuck/Sarah shipper, I could be way off base here.

Well, you may be right - some sort of double/rogue agent shenannagins type stuff would work well.

Dang it! I missed Chuck vs. the Ex, I didn't realize how much I was missing. Is there any way to download these eps from Hulu?

Okay, so something I don't get. Why would Jill work so hard to help Chuck find the list of Fulcrum agents? Wouldn't she have to know she's on the list? Why blow her own cover and that of countless other Fulcrum agents? Granted, Chuck is a valuable prize, but was it worth the trade-off? Or did she plant a false list? And if she DID plant a false list, why leave herself on it? The only reason for that I can think of is to leave a trail for Casey & Sarah to follow.
I don't think she ever intended to let the CIA have the list. As long as it was out there to be found, she and her fellow Fulcrum agents were at risk. Her mission was probably to regain Chuck's trust so that he would do exactly what he did: hand the list over to Fulcrum in exchange for her. I doubt she ever expected him to make a copy of the list before exchanging it. Remember, the original list was destroyed.
*scoffs* Be gone. Your logic, it pains me.

Okay, so this is what I get for developing theories while trying to work. :p ;)

Go to www.nbc.com/chuck for the episode you missed. It's still up and it's free.

Yeah, but I have a crappy internet connection, so when I try to watch shows, they stop to buffer every five seconds even if you preload it. Maybe I'll just get it from iTunes, $1.99 ain't that bad.

Just watched it. Nice episode all around. Saw the list copy a mile away, and I had a feeling that Jill's reintroduction was for something more sinister.
Makes sense since she was with Bryce...maybe on the same recruitment track at Stanford. From there, she was probably recruited into Fulcrum. Looks like it'll lead up to a big finale with Jill and Bryce.

I wonder if Morgan will every be let fully in on the secret. HE seems like he can pull it off...maybe.

I also half expected Allie to appear and give Jill grief for the first time around. Although, I would mind her being in less eps, much like tonight. She seems way too concerned about Chuck and her standards of a regular life. Compared to Awesome, it seems like Chuck will never really measure up and be a real success in her eyes, even though she does care.

Sorry if this has been stated before. I'm sort of new to this show, but am more or less up to speed...I think.

I hope not, because Morgan and the rest of the Buy More staff are Chuck's emotional anchor to the real world. Having said that, I get the feeling we'll soon see Anna swooping in to save the day as a CIA agent.

I both loved and hated this episode.

Loved it for the Chuck/Jill/Sarah stuff, Casey's C note, and the overall continuing story arc. Oh, and the gratuitous skin didn't hurt either.

Hated it for the writers making Jill a Fulcrum agent, which you could see coming from a mile away but was nicely executed. I was hoping she'd just be a recurring character for awhile and that she wasn't a secret agent. She provided a nice anchor for Chuck to get away from the spy world. Yeah, it's possible she's not a Fulcrum agent, but she's still wrapped up in all this intrigue which was a bit of a letdown for me.

Another Awesome. Sure it was too obvious that Jill is a Fulcrum agent, but she has to be the False Love so that Chuck will realize who his True Love is. This schtick was old when Jane Austen was doin' it. Yes, Chuck is a Jane Austen heroine, shove him into crinoline and a bonnet and he's Anne Hathaway. :rommie:

Zach Levi is a very good actor. Comedic actors don't get enough respect for having just as much talent as dramatic actors, maybe more. He very expertly conveys the way Chuck tries to maintain a cool facade while helplessly ping-ponging emotionally between everything in his environment, genuinely happy with Jill and still genuinely conflicted about Sarah. It pretty much depends on whose eminently unhookable bra is confronting him in any given shower at any given moment. :rommie::rommie::rommie:

It amazes me that this is the same show I was utterly indifferent to last season. It has really taken off. Definitely Best Comedy Emmy material, a nomination at least.

I think we should send links to these Chuck threads to NBC. I have never seen a show rated so highly on this forum as Chuck has been.
Pushing Daisies is also very highly rated among the folks who watch it here. Fortunately for Chuck, it has stronger demos, is on a weaker network, and has nicely consistent if not spectacular ratings. Pushing Daisies is almost certainly headed for cancellation, so it's nice to have another charming genre comedy to fall back on (till Reaper comes back, that's the third of this type.)

The Buy More gang was the most fun yet, as someone finally questioned Chuck's repeated disappearances.
Why can't the gubmint just whomp up some fake service calls and pay Buy More for Chuck's supposed time? That kind of stuff seems pretty easy vs. getting some dweeb manager suspicious.
You have to wonder how he'd feel to know just how much American intelligence agencies owe their security to him?
Like he should get a whole lot of really cool high-tech spy shit for free?

Casey having the hots for Jill was interesting. Is it the resemblance to Sarah Palin that did it? :rommie:

I still think Chuck is still in love with Sarah and him getting together with Jill is just a way of not dealing with it (and not being alone).

He's in love with both of em, so his attraction to Jill is not just a rebound thing, but following the classic formula, Jill is the one who is wrong for him, and Sarah is right.

I really don't think the show has changed much since the first season; it's the same show it's always been. The plot is still paper thin when you read a description of it, but it's absolutely amazing how well this show pulls off what it intends to do. :)

Awesome episode! You could see miles away that Jill was Fulcrum but still! I almost died laughing with the high C! Casey is one of the main reasons I watch this show. He's that type of actors of have one persona (I'm looking at you Keanu Reeves!), but damn he's good at it! I wish that someday he'll be in a hypothetical Predator 3...

This show just keeps on giving. I made this here anim:

The writing wasn't as clever last season; also I think there's a subtle but definite character arc for Chuck that is slowly but surely making him a more compelling character and the same is true to a lesser degree for the minor characters.

Casey's shoplifting prevention was hilarious! If I could have found the still pic of him in the Buy More polo, trying to smile and flashing the thumbs up shown on the webisode intro it would have been my new avatar.
That's funny. Check out my profile picture.
