If it's Monday, it must be Chuck!

Chuck and girlfriend Jill go rogue in a puzzling quest to uncover double agents. (Jordana Brewster and Tony Hale guest star.)

Won't be able to watch it until about midnight tonight, but I'm sooooooo excited!

And while we're at it...my friend finally uploaded Halloween pictures!

^I'm excited too. Chuck has become "must see" programming for me. Easily my favorite show on TV at the moment. Heroes used to be, but Chuck has just done so well and is so consistently good that when I think about Mondays I am looking forward to Chuck and Heroes has just become an after-thought.

I think we should send links to these Chuck threads to NBC. I have never seen a show rated so highly on this forum as Chuck has been. Not one vote below "Average" for this entire season, with the majority of votes rating it "Awesome!"

And for those who want a quick Chuck fix, check out the webisodes they have been making over at www.nbc.com/chuck . Casey's shoplifting prevention was hilarious! If I could have found the still pic of him in the Buy More polo, trying to smile and flashing the thumbs up shown on the webisode intro it would have been my new avatar.

I watch Chuck and Heroes on my friend's TiVo since we both work Monday nights. Last week we decided to watch Heroes first so that we could end on a high note with Chuck.

Previously we had been watching Chuck first, but Heroes was such a buzz kill that we had to switch it up.

Makes sense to me.

I don't do TiVo. I use an old DV bridge to record my shows right to my HD and generally have to watch them as they record so that I catch any glitches that cause iMovie to stop recording. Otherwise I would be highly tempted to follow the same viewing schedule as you.

So...

Jill is a FULCRUM agent.
I totally called it. Well, not out loud, but I've been thinking it all along.

^ Of course they just couldn't let Chuck win.

The Buy More gang was the most fun yet, as someone finally questioned Chuck's repeated disappearances. Oddly, Casey's vanishings didn't register with the new guy. And kudos for Morgan's solution to the problem...He wins the Best Friend Forever Award(tm), hands down...

I am heartbroken. My friend has to be at work early, so we're not going to be able to watch until tomorrow!

The ending was rather predictable, but having both Jordana Brewster and Yvonne Strahovski in less than full attire has to count for something right?

This episode got an Awesome! just for the Vogon reference alone. Yvonne in her underwear in the shower with Chuck = BONUS! Jordana in her bra = DOUBLE BONUS! (excuse the pun) Yes, we all knew Chuck's happiness with Jill wouldn't last. And how it is going to be ended next week was telegraphed a mile away. But it was still a lot of fun getting there. Plus it was a bit satisfying to see Chuck give Sarah a little emotional payback in the time being. Next episode should give us something satisfying on that front as well, given Sarah's firm warning to Jill not to hurt Chuck. She will likely survive and return in an episode with Bryce Larkin as someone noted last week. It doesn't make sense not to use it, even though that plot twist was evident from the start. Everyone from Chuck's past seems to be in espionage. Bryce in the CIA as a counter-Fulcrum agent. Jill a straight up Fulcrum agent. How long until we find out Morgan has really been Chuck's CIA recruiter and handler since they were kids? (I kid! I kid! Please leave Morgan alone!)

The Buy More gang was great. Although this is yet another week that Anna has been missing. She only appeared in that photo of her kissing Morgan that Emmett was using against him. So sad that she is going so underused. The last that she was on screen was when she was wearing the bikini top and grass skirt for Jeff to take a nostalgic trip to Missile Command Land set to Tom Sawyer. I did like that Emmett was taking notice of Chuck's excessive absences as I questioned about in last week's episode comment. Now THAT's service! Hopefully TPTB are listening to my request for more Anna in this week's comment! I do believe the reason Casey has escaped similar notice can be found in episode 1 of the webisodes that are on NBC's Chuck website. He is just too valuable a store asset to mess with. Plus, Emmett is probably scared of him on top of that.

So another Monday, another episode of blatant nerd gratifying fun. I love this series!

Well, it's not so unreasonable that everyone from Chuck's Stanford past might be a spy - remember last year's ...Versus the Alta Mater, which showed that the CIA assessed everyone at Stanford for potential recruitment, and seemed to hire half the class as sleepers to judge by the final shoot-out in that one?

Now if they fight each other next week in mud ... really, would that be too much to ask? ;)

I've had such a killer and "out-there" idea for an episode of this show that I might see if my agent can get a pitch for it, even though I stopped pitching to TV about ten years ago.

Just a really enjoyable series.

The Vogon reference was just perfect.

And then Casey launched into his "high C."

"Choir boy."
Sarah gives him a look.
"What? I wasn't hatched!"

:guffaw: Literally, I lost the next several lines while I tried to stifle the peals of laughter trying to give away my momentary distraction from financial reports.

Okay, so something I don't get. Why would Jill work so hard to help Chuck find the list of Fulcrum agents? Wouldn't she have to know she's on the list? Why blow her own cover and that of countless other Fulcrum agents? Granted, Chuck is a valuable prize, but was it worth the trade-off? Or did she plant a false list? And if she DID plant a false list, why leave herself on it? The only reason for that I can think of is to leave a trail for Casey & Sarah to follow.

Jill is probably counter-Fulcrum, working with Bryce deep under cover, and they need to borrow the intersect without going through official channels to get him. :techman:

Oh, and Morgan just gets more and more awesome each week. To think people didn't like him at first! :D

I don't think she ever intended to let the CIA have the list. As long as it was out there to be found, she and her fellow Fulcrum agents were at risk. Her mission was probably to regain Chuck's trust so that he would do exactly what he did: hand the list over to Fulcrum in exchange for her. I doubt she ever expected him to make a copy of the list before exchanging it. Remember, the original list was destroyed.

Saved by the x-factor known as Morgan! :techman:

You have to wonder how he'd feel to know just how much American intelligence agencies owe their security to him?

Great stuff. Between the choir boy thing that had me laughing my ass of f, the Buymoria B plot and the hot shots of semi naked women this episode was a blast. till prefer Jordna Brewsters looks to Yvonne's but that's me nitpicking about Hollywood over reliance on blondes when brunettes are soooo much hotter.

As a new viewer, I'm kind of sad that now they're going back to the old relationship again. Although, to be fair, I suppose things might end differently.
Still, Like The Big Bang Theory and Pushing Daises the constant pining for THE ONE TRUE LOVE gets annoying fast.
