Chris Pine appreciation thread

Nice one from Screen Musings HD caps on this page:

My friend Aleida, the friend I keep referencing, has just informed me that she thinks Chris Pine is adorable when he's all beat up looking. :rommie: Like she "just wants to kiss his boo boo".

P.S.... Perfect eyebrows...

Kiss his boo boo. Well, he got plenty of those in this movie. I think those boo boo's around his eye socket are Spock's doing, aren't they?

Is Aleida the new Kirk fan you were talking about? He gets his perfect eyebrows messed up in "Carriers."

This boo boo hurts quite a bit apparently.

 By jove, I think you've got it. Thank you for the little musical notes; where are those? That little whistling guy reminds me of those ancient Mickey Mouse cartoons, like Steamboat Willie.
It does kinda remind of the old Silly Symphonies cartoons and Steamboat Willie, now that you mention it. The note (

) is one I found somewhere online and copied for just such occasions; there are also notes (♪, ♫) in the Windows Character Map (and, presumably, the Mac OS equivalent) but those always look too small to me.

Oh, I do love Blind Dating. Thanks for that picture, Jeri.

Here's another picture of Kirk that I particularly like from the screen caps:

Yes, Aleida is the new Kirk fan I was talking about.

Well, Tom, keep up the good work; we might have to throw in for a recruiting office. :D

Pam, I think that's the one where, he's responding "So do I," to Uhura's "I hope you know what you're doing."

Well, believe it or not, this is one of my favorites from Blind Dating. What great hands.

^ Interesting hand picture. I wonder if they were shaved for the movie?

Heh, just noticed. The head has an eyepiece that reminds me of the Borg.

I hadn't even thought of wax until you mentioned spa treatment. That would make more sense than shaving. OUCH! That would be very painful.

I had hand surgery a while back, for arthritis. With all the nerve endings in the hand it is one of the most painful surgeries you can have. I would imagine waxing the back of one's hand wouldn't be too pleasant.

Sure. I can tell that i'm in love!

There must be something seriously wrong with me. I love the pictures with the blood under his nose.

Yeah, i think he had them waxed. I can't see a single hair on them.

I sound so pathetic!

This is so true. And yet i married a good one!

I'm a Buffy the Vampire Slayer lover. And Spike was just about as hot (bad) as hot gets.

Well, as they say in Regency romances: reformed rakes make the best husbands!

I remember hearing on the extra tracks of Blind Dating that on their way to film in Utah, the cast and crew hung out in Las Vegas for some days -- he could have easily gotten a spa treatment there.

Maybe his hands are just naturally smooth? Or they could have just made sure his hands looked all pretty for the movies or something.

Yeah, I think it was just for Blind Dating. He probably knew they were going to be looking at his hands all the time, since the character is blind and has to feel everything up close. He's a fairly hairy guy elsewhere. I think I can make it out on his hands in this picture.
