Chris Pine appreciation thread

Well, who would be some other actors of that era that come to mind looking at that billiards photo? I would like to find some more of those. That series of Chris photos really resonates; whoever that photographer was -- he did a good job.

Btw, I just checked my TiVo Chris Pine wish list, and there are three of his shows coming up: "Smokin' Aces," "Bottle Shock," and his "CSI:Miami" episode.

Nice pic. It does kinda remind me of Chris a bit, the boyishness and the jawline of the face particularly.

Just keep in mind that Chris is a lot taller and rangier than Paul Newman, or even Robert Wagner - Newman was only medium sized at best and Wagner is not as tall as his bio states (met 'em both IRL). Chris is...ah...VERY well porprotioned though!

It's mostly the hair style (not quite a pompador) and with most the "come hither" look that seems to resonate between the pics.

Chris's CSI:Miami episode, "Extreme" will be shown at noon and 6 p.m. on AETV on the 29th.

Bottle Shock is on about a million times. I think IMDb could have those listed on its page. They list upcoming show times on some pages.

I just noticed the Princess Diaries 2 will be airing on Disney Channel tomorrow night at 7:00 (central time) and tomorrow just so happens to be Chris's birthday!

I've never actually seen this movie, but I might have to sit down and watch it just for him

I actually have that movie, both that one and the first movie. I'm not only a big Star Trek fan but I'm also a big Disney fan as well. Anyways, I have seen Princess Diaries 2 nummours times way long before the new Star Trek movie came out. I never realized until now that it was him, that played in the movie. I guess I need to watch Princess Diaries 2 again.

Naughty! But nice. And I noticed his arms, too. He calls himself a skinny guy; but in that particular picture, he looks pumped.

I don't know if you were around for that, but the chica who played the Orion girl talked about Chris in their bedroom scene in one article. She got tickled at him pumping up between every take; he'd get down and do push ups to keep pumped up.

She called him a skinny guy, too. I'm sure that article is in the Trek News archive somewhere.

As for him being a skinny guy... well, me being 5'8" and 113 lbs, I wouldn't call him skinny... But that's just my bias. I'd say he has a nice build. Smaller end of average. Whatever. I like.

Jeri, LOL! No, i didnt read that article. I do remember her saying the green paint kept ending up on him....but don't remember reading about him doing pushups and pumping. Gawd, he's so cute!

I have a life size stand up of Chris Pine as Kirk. I just finally got it in the mail yesterday. Even though its a stand up, its like he's there, and boy he is tall! I will take a picture of it once I find a place to put it. And when I do, I will post it here. And boy he looks so hot in the captain's uniform!
