I didn't realize the new Transformers came out so soon - is there a trailer out for it yet? If not, when can we expect to see it?

no. either around the Super Bowl or in February. Bay's announced a poster will be revealed around Christmas and possibly some photos in the next week or so.

Star Trek for me. I'm intrigued by Watchmen, though I haven't read the graphic novel. I haven't really read ANY graphic novels before, but everything I hear about this one is good, so I'll probably check it out before the movie. I'll see Terminator and Wolverine too, but they won't be on an opening night basis.

Avatar is the only remotely interesting sci-fi film that I'll no doubt see at the cinema. The rest I'm not ever sure I'll see when they come out on blu ray.

While I'm really excited about "Avatar" and cautiously looking forward to T4, Watchmen, Wolverine and Transformers 2, the one movie I want to see the most right now is definitely Star Trek.

Star Trek and Watchmen are the only two I'll see. And Watchmen depends on reviews so therefore it goes to Star Trek.

This one is easy for me. Star Trek is the only one I'm interested in, though if I really had to choose a couple others, I guess I'd go for Wolverine and Terminator... but I'll probably end up seeing those on video. The rest I'll probably never see, and I will *definitely* never see that Transformers sequel.

Trek makes the most sense for me to see. A couple others there might be interesting if I hear they're good, but I'm not going out of my way to see them.

I'm looking forward to a lot of these!

1. Watchmen: best. comic. ever.
2. Terminator Salvation: looking forward to finally seeing the future war
3. Transformers 2: enjoyed the first
4. Star Trek: I'm completely burned out on Trek but the trailer was very CGI-glossy.
5. GI Joe: could be awful, could be the next Transformers.
6. Harry Potter Half-Blood Prince: why isn't this here? Underworld isn't "sci-fi" either. I love HP but this will be a boring movie plot-wise.
7. Avatar: I haven't seen a single frame of footage so I have no feelings one way or the other.
8: Wolverine: loved the movies but will a solo effort work as well?
9. Underworld 3: really liked the first two, wary of the prequel/historical take.
10. Night Museum 2: enjoyed the first.

What, they're doing a sequel to "Van Helsing?"

"Star Trek" is the movie I'm most looking forward to, followed by "Watchmen."

The only other of the films listed above that interests me is "Avatar."

If I absolutely could only see one, it would be Star Trek. But I voted for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans because I figured it could use the votes. I'm looking forward to it, especially since it's a prequel. Thus, it can bring back all of the interesting characters/actors that were killed off in the first 2.

Honorable mentions for Terminator Salvation & Wolverine.

Star Trek rules over all!

But Avatar sounds good, too. Watchmen, I'll believe it when I see it. Aren't there a lot more sci fi films on the horizon than that list?

Good to see that this is still a Star Trek board. :D

Just you wait, us Chuckaholics have big plans for '09.
