Good lord, could you guys be any more dramatic? Going so far as to whine about being called names (some of which were never actually said) in ever post you make her via your signature? Really? Wow...I must have really struck a nerve. (With the things I really *did* say, not the words that were put in my mouth i.e "dateless" "loser")

I wonder if some of the comments made in this thread struck a little to close to home, made some people take a look inside themselves and when they didn't like what they saw they then turned it around on those pointing things out.

Since a lot of what I've said here has been twisted and taken to the extremes a number of time, I'll try to restate my position as clearly as I can. If you are a guy on a full train, in a seat and a woman is standing, nobody is forcing you to offer her the seat. You're not a bad person if you don't. You simply aren't a gentleman. If you believe that you're entitled to that seat, then go ahead and keep sitting. However, its simply a sign of a man with extra courtesy and class to at last offer the seat to a woman...especially if you haven't taken the seat yet yourself as in my original post.

Your arm must really hurt from patting yourself on your back. And you have the nerve to decide who is and isn't a gentleman. Any more insinuations that we hate ourself coming or are we done for the thread. At first I was irritated by your attitude but now I see how funny and ironic it is.

Okay, as entertaining-- and interminable-- as this has been, there's really nothing left here but people sniping at each other. And that doesn't fly. Especially when I can't even keep track of who's saying what to whom anymore.
