Children of Time

I can agree with that. I have a hard time accepting Miles and Sisko's decisions the most as well.

But it kind of brings to mind an episode of B5, "Comes the Inquisitor" where some of the main characters, knowing they will be key in the upcoming war, decide that they are willing to die alone i it meant saving someone else...

interesting comparison I think..

This was the episode I showed to my then-girlfriend in 2005, who'd never seen an episode of Star Trek. Definitely put some tears in her eyes. And mine, too.

IMO, this episode is wonderful sci-fi, and is an example of what I love most about DS9: great storytelling, and the willingness to make bold decisions in the Star Trek universe.
