Children In Need Clip

I thought his marriage was unrelated to whatever he did with Queen Elizabeth (;)). I wonder what would compel him to marry at all. I think these few lines will be debated for years to come, especially among the 'River Song married the Doctor at some point since she knows his name' crowd.

I suppose it is hard to tell, as he's rambling. It sounds like Good Queen Bess is connected to his 'got married' comment, although that could be River.

Also, keep in mind, the Doctor might be bullshitting. He's been known to do that.

The implication is very strong that he married her, and she's no longer the Virgin Queen.

And would also explain why she called him her nemesis.

Well, he obviously dumped her, maybe even just fled after getting married to her. I can understand her anger.
I wonder whether we'll get some books about the Doctor's adventures between 'Waters of Mars' and 'End of Time' someday. I'd really like to read the story about him and Lizzy.

Just imagine this is the Doctor talking to Queen Elizabeth.

He's played the Doctor, afterall. ;)

I like how they brushed off missing time - this does NOT happen directly after The Waters of Mars, and he has regressed somewhat to his pre-Time Lord Victorious state. I suspect the line in general was meant to give the Doctor a specific gap in which to have plenty of adventures, which certainly includes (but is not limited to) a variety of encounters with a certain River Song...

There were some location shots with Alex Kinsgston in the Radio Times a while back. They could be flashback scenes during this gap or she may be introduced formally. In any event, he'll have to give her his screwdriver if you know what I'm saying...

The Master needs a shave and a suit, and needs to look like John Simm and not Simon Pegg.

He does look like John Simm. Which is not a surprise as that's who's playing him.

Well, considering she was in those shots with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, I don't think they're flashback scenes...

A bit late in posting, been spending a bit of time in Trek XI forum.

Anyway, i liked what i saw. Not very revealing as such, but has its gems. Naming a galaxy Allison, getting married, locking the Tardis like a car (still not sure on that joke though, especially after he explains that its a joke. If he had just beeped it and carried on talking it wouldve worked better INMHO).

But looks promising from what we saw. The Oods ultra fast development. The sunglasses and flowers. All good.

Lets hope RTD delivers this time and its not another Planet of the Dead...
