Cheer me up :)

not exactly my music but perfectly choreographed and an excellent dancer! Thanks for sharing.
The only thing I dislike is the mock attack on the darkskinned gentleman and the following shooting-like action. Reminds me too uncomfortably of the recent shootings by cops in the US.

Checking on my laundry I couldn't help laughing out loud when I discovered that my laundry slug struck again . Apparently the crawler is thirsty and licks up the water when I hang the laundry out overnight. Next time I'll give it a wet rug to crawl over. Maybe then it'll leave my blouses alone.
Looks kinda cool, though - a bit like Japanese calligraphy

yes, but damned good, isn't it? It's so perfectly adapted to the music. And dancers are usually not exactly good as actors - this dancer is acting absolutely great. The facial expressions are so exact and change so quickly. Or that scene where the arm appears to have a will of its own. Pretty awesome =)

Well, the water company's insurance has agreed to pay me the FULL replacement value I quoted for the stuff that was damaged when their water meter exploded in my basement. No depreciation. That's pretty good.

Congratulations!!! =) That's pretty awesome! Are you going to re-collect the damaged items?

What totally made my day today is Google's first day of autumn doodle. So cute =)

Probably not, actually. There's nowhere in my house right now I could display the 1:350 NX-01, for example, and thanks to Eaglemoss, I already have one USS Prometheus.

I'll probably either put the money towards paying off my car, or towards some new clothes. It's been a loooooong time since I bought any new dress shirts or slacks for work. I take really good care of my clothes, but they have their limits.

^Indeed. Plus, one does always feel a little bit better in new clothes. Invest in a few good, classic pieces and they'll last for ages.

a milk station. It's like a gas station, only you get fresh milk. You can either bring your own bottle or buy one on the spot and the station is open 24/7, the milk is organic, no genetically altered cow food is used ad it's totally untreated (not pasteurized either). And it's transported only 20 yards: from the udder to the automat.

I can't help myself:

Is that the only one of its kind, or will they be building some udder ones?

So I went to the drive-thru at McDonald's this morning and found myself in a "Pay it Forward" train. I kept it going of course. I want to go back after work and ask how long it lasted.

^ At least the spirit mooooooo-ved you.

@rhubarbodendron: As I understand it a "pay it forward" train is when you're in line at the drive-thru and you pay the bill of the people behind you, and they do the same thing for the people behind them, etc.

great idea. Nobody over here would be so altruistic, though. Hmm, I might try to start such a train myself when I get my Christmas gratification :)
