I don't get the Milano/Dushku bit. It just seems totally out of place.

To be honest, I'm not really in to this idea a lot. I hate Eliza Dushku anyway, dreadful actor. Not to mention the fact that the four guys were what made Ghostbusters, and with other stuff going on with the "passing of the baton" mindset, I don't think Ghostbusters should do that.
But he was already a sarcastic ghostbuster in Lost... would he want to be typecast like that?

I think Rogan is similar to Will Ferrell. Ferrell is a good actor when he doesn't touch the script and doesn't sit behind the camera.
^ I don't like Farrell either, actually, except for that movie where he was a book character.

If this movie really does start filming at the end of this year.... and if Dollhouse hasn't been canceled by then... then Dushku would probably be out.

I'd take Seth Rogen over Will Farrell any day, but I'm not a big fan of either of them. They're almost as lame as Adam Sandler.
I read somewhere about Ben Stiller in the cast.
Back when Chris Farley was still alive and before Will Smith became the No. 1 movie star in the world, there was talk about a third Ghostbusters that involved Stiller, Farley and Smith as the new recruits. Don't know if that's just an old rumor resurfacing or not. But obviously Stiller doesn't seem to have any problems with sequels.
