Charlie Brookers Screenwipe

YEEEEEEEEHHHHHAAAAWWWW........

I wonder if he will review Dead Set........now that would be interesting.

OK so screenwipes is back, I'm just waiting for The IT crowd to appear and then hopefully Hustle to follow....TV is looking good at last again.:techman:

As for the second link, just enjoy.....

Plus listen to this classic for Charles PC zone days when he phones BMG to complain about GTA......Hilarious

Brooker phones BMG

here you go.

SITCOM: The IT Crowd
On: Channel 4
Date: Friday 21st November 2008 (starting in 14 days)
Time: 22:00 to 22:35 (35 minutes long)

The third series of the award-winning sitcom, written and directed by Graham Linehan, produced by Richard Boden and executive produced by Ash Atalla. The IT Crowd continues the adventures of Roy Moss and Jen, who continue against the odds to be employed by Reynholm Industries as IT consultants.

I dont think Hustle is on till next year.

TubeTalk has an interview with Charlie (under the Merlin preview).

Weird, Screenwipe is getting a spin off?
What's in store for Screenwipe beyond this series?
"We've just been commissioned to do a spinoff series about the news. We did a one-off special about it and we're doing a whole new series of that next year. So there obviously the subject matter is the news and the world!"

And I thought I'd share this...
Oh the irony... :guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw:
YouTube has got lots of Screenwipe all over it: there's even a full episode "Screenwipe Guide to TV" (essentially a selection of the best skits from previous series, about how TV shows are made - informative, and of course hilarious) and the "Ten Biggest Cocks in Advertising" edited together. He is SO right about Kris Marshall... :bolian:

Not Screnwipe in itself, but Charlie also produced a Channel 4 one-off for The Art Show in 2003 about How To Watch Television (it's on YouTube too). :bolian:

I remember Charlie Brooker from the good old PC Zone days. I also liked his prank calls: Charlie calls Eidos Interactive :guffaw:

So did anyone watch this the other night?

Brilliant as usual, the Brittania High bit was excellent!

Oh, and I had to stay up and watch Paul Ross' Big Black Book of Horror on the Paranormal Channel afterwards (Sky channel 201)
 Haha, what shite! But its Paul Ross so its just funny

 Loved the "Offensive end credits." You could tell he was seconds away from cracking up the whole way through.
I couldn't agree with him more over that whole offensive TV thing he did.

I was rather hoping he'd bring up Paul Ross' guest appearances on bid.tv! Alas, we can't have everything.

Very funny.

Just watched it on iPlayer - great stuff, as usual.

But after those clips of Paul Ross bored their way into my brain I am afeared. Afeared that I'll never be able to forget exactly how fucking awful they were.

:D

I thought you might be afeared that Paul Ross would be playing a woman in your dreams tonight...

You have no-one to blame but yourself, lad. Get your own mallet and do it yourself, you big sissy.

(And yes, that needs to be read with a northern accent in mind for the full effect).

:D

:D

I think I'll just take some drugs, hopefully they'll give me different weird dreams...

If it'll help dispell The RossWoman from lodging in your dreams, it's worth a shot.
