People:
Wanted to see what kind of characters you would have liked to see in any of the ST shows as regulars.
I always wanted to see a Tellarite as a crew member. I believe ENT established that Tellarites argue as part of their socialization, that to them, it's a sign they're fond of one another when they argue. It would be interesting to see how humans, who are supposed to be more culturally evolved, would tolerate a constant stream of invective, no matter how well-intentioned, from a Tellarite crew member.
I've been intrigued by two "blended" characters: when Odo and Curzon merge briefly, and the transporter accident that created Tuvix from Tuvok and Neelix. I would have liked to see a character similar to Tuvix: A recent Starfleet graduate who's caught in a transporter accident with maybe three other foks, creating a new individual. (I would have liked it be someone who is part Andorian/Aenar, part Vulcan, part Klingon, and part human.)
And a lead character who is human but not born on Earth, a type with a broader interstellar perspective.
What do you all think?
