Boy, did I ever hate Kira at first. My friend laughed, but I was serious when after three seasons I asked him, why the hell is Kira still on this show? Why don't they just kill her irritating ass off? I just found her so whiny, preachy, and grating. I wanted her dead so bad. Then I thought she lightened up in season 4 by bonding with Sisko, Odo, and others, and to my surprise, she ended up being a focal point of one of my favourite episodes ("His Way").
I never really liked Odo, but he was quite endearing in "A Simple Investigation" and "His Way". I think Pulaski was just starting to come into her own as a character JUST before she left. I really liked her in "Peak Performance" and disliked her in pretty much every episode she was in before that.
