Characters n catch phrases

Last year I was taken to task by an actor for not recognising that particular characters catch phrase. Let's discuss characters catch phrases/ lines and which are our favourite. If anyone mentions this particular actor and catch phrase, I'll reveal them.Mine is KIRK: "manned moon shot, that was in the late 1960s... " SPOCK: Apparently captain, so are we".

I’m confused. This doesn’t contain any catchphrase I’m aware of. Aren’t catchphrases stuff like “Fascinating”, “He’s dead, Jim” or “Live long and prosper”?

Gotcha. Totally missed that in your post. Although you’ll have to admit the way you’ve mentioned it (“catchphrases / lines”) makes it seem like they are interchangeable, while obviously not every line, even if it’s a super cool one, is automatically a catchphrase.

Well, in any case, I know which line was the favorite in the Voyager writers’ room …

Will he/she sue if you reveal the phrase now? Was his/her phrase a variation of ''dynamite'' or something beaten into the ground each week? Could you clue us in?

Well since it was last year it must be someone who was still alive then (unless it was A Christmas Carol sort of thing)…so that narrows it down.

No, I don't believe so. Definitely wasn't beaten into the ground each week. I didn't recognise it even as a catch/ repeated phrase.

This topic should be for phrases we really associate with a given character, preferably delivered multiple times.
