I had this movie on my recorder for a very long time. I was worried that it would waste a couple hours of my life. It is a drama, not some scifi/fantasy movie. There is nothing supernatural in it. It is about a woman's son being kidnapped. When the police finally find the boy and take her to meet him she finds out that it isn't her son(A changeling, just not one from an elf or fairy origin). She must find her real son and fight the police that insist the boy is her real son.
I thought it was a good movie. There are some bad people in it that I just wanted to punch in the face. That shows that they are doing a pretty good acting job. I don't know, maybe the script helps them out in that regard. The script is done by J. Michael Straczynski and the movie is directed by Clint Eastwood. After all those cheesy Babylon 5 scripts I didn't think that Straczynski could write a good movie.
The star of Burn Notice plays a police captain and Colm Feore is the police chief. I don't know the guy's name, but the security guard from Dawn of the Dead plays a cop in the movie too(I mean the dark haired older one). John Malkovich plays a preacher who exposes police corruption in the movie too.
Edit: Michael Kelly was the security guard from Dawn of the Dead.
