I once tried to go some time without sex or masturbation. After about five days, I experienced the start of what is known in America as blue balls.

Suddenly I knew why far-right Christians are so hateful and aggressive.

I know atheists say that the miracles in the Bible couldn't have happened like when Moses crossed the Red Sea. However, there has been archaeological proof that such an event did happened because they found chariots in the middle of the Red Sea.

Water levels rise and fall throughout history, there is actual archaeological and geological evidence of this. The bed of the Red Sea was probably once higher than it's current position allowing safe travel across it, then as it lowered due to tectonic activity and filled with water there were chariots, etc left behind. Either that or they fell off boats travelling across.

I forgot to answer the question about Caine's wife. The Bible doesn't record every little birth, so she was probably his sister. That's what they had to do back then because that's all they had.

Incest is a sin in the Bible, so doesn't that mean we are all born from sin hence it is who we are? How could such a deep stain ever be washed away when it is the reason for our being? Won't that tarnish all of us throughout time as an original sin that can never be cleansed?

If we're talking about hundreds of years, maybe a thousand, Adam and Eve would have had a lot of babies, probably quickly and painless, devoid of complications, if God really made pregnancy and birth that much more hard-ass after the apple. That means that the just shy of breeding results from a hundred generations of humans, all got kicked out of the Garden at the same time, were simultaneously cursed by God.

That puts a lot of genetic distance between post Eden refugees, that hopefully the new normal wasn't going to end in deformed mutants.

After 2000 years being alive and ###, don't you think Adam and Eve wondered why their last batch of great great, etc, etc, etc, grandkids (before they died) had a life expectancy of thirty years?

These kids were totally "deformed mutants" from Adam's superior perspective.

The whole masturbation thing never made much sense to me? We know that it is healthy, and even necessary (for males) to maintain a healthy body, yet it is a sin.

Tends to show me that someone with an agenda, with little to no input from God, wrote the Bible.

The story they use in the Bible to justify being against masturbation isn't even ABOUT masturbation. It's about a guy who refused God's order to make babies with his brother's widow. He had sex with her, but "pulled out." He wasn't cursed for masturbation, he was cursed for "disobedience." (Because once again, God is totally into incest.)

Not quite as bad as the flood, or the whole of Revelation, or the whole "You must believe I killed my own son, who is also me, in order to save you from the sins I myself have declared you are BORN committing no matter how hard you try to be a decent person. If you don't you will be punished by eternal damnation in a hell of my creation and I really don't want that to happen to you EVEN THOUGH I SET THE WHOLE DAMN THING UP. Oh, and hard luck to anyone who happened to be born (at my behest, you know - omnipotence) before I killed myself (which is a sin if YOU do it) because they go to the hell I MADE just because of a technicality outside of their control but well within mine" thing. But poor form anyways.

Actually incest seems pretty small change in the grand scheme of things when you think about it.
