Château Picard's Spy Couple friends.

I think it's so refreshing to see two beings from a heretofore alien culture steeped in mystery, living out Earth life on a country estate. Sure, they were once Tal Shiar doing who knows what covert ops in whatever fleet, but today they're washing dishes, making tea, and loving it. Talk about wanting to get away from it all. Of course, the whole point is Picard chose the exact same life, but it didn't stick for him in the end.

Without a doubt, they'll show up at the last moment when all hope seems lost for Picard in whatever crisis arises. There's no way they're staying at the vineyard.

On one hand, I'm hoping that this won't happen:

Script of Episode 10 said:
As Picard and our heroes are about to be destroyed, the Enterprise-E swoops into view and saves them. 'Stand by for transport' calls a familiar voice. Picard et al. materialize on the bridge to see Laris and Zhaban standing beside Beverly Crusher. "We called in a favor from an old, old friend, Jean-Luc... And she was very happy to comply."

On the other hand, the fan in me is aching for it.

I'm a bit torn on this as Laris did offer up her own solid variation of Avon's statement from Blakes Seven's Horizon, "I'm not expendable. I'm not Stupid. I'm not going."

Yeah, he did end up going, but then, Avon was only the second smartest guy in the Federation.
