CBS shuts down Axanar.

When STAR TREK fan films are just cute, little, home-made productions shot in a Trekkie's basement, one could look the other way. But they're getting out of hand, now, and really need to scale back, if they seriously want to maintain that kind of relationship with CBS and/or Paramount.

As I said elsewhere, Axanar's we're just like all the other fanfilms routine just drags everyone down with them. CBS / Paramount is going to decide it's just too much trouble and can everything...

What about "The Red Shirt Diaries"?
What about all the fan-fiction out there and on this very site?
Is there anything that CBS has approved?

"The Red Shirt Diaries" is parody, so I think they're okay.

Fan-fiction (even written) can be iffy. I know there are some authors who don't like fan-fiction based in their universes.

I'm sure Fan Productions is having a great time with this...

:)
