That's only for proper names; for example, Scrabble, or Gowron. But human and klingon and andorian and vulcan, etc. are names of species or races, too, and wouldn't necessarily be capitalized.

Oh go ahead. My scroll wheel works just fine.I have some pretty long Star Trek Photostrips, many of which are just jokes, but the longest could be construed as a more serious attempt at an hour long Star Trek episode (how long it might be if one actually filmed it, I can't be sure, but it's a story in 8 parts, each part having 25 or so panels, IIRC). I'm not sure if CBS/Paramount would complain, but I doubt that one would come under "fair use."
Anyway, I doubt I should put it up here since it is . . . long and . . . off topic, probably.
That's a very informative article. A couple of folks here should read it, but I doubt it would make a difference to them. Their minds are made up.
Not as white as you profiled me to be (based on my real name), and my sexual orientation is none of your business. But seeing as your avatar and pseudonym depict Professor Zoom (a.k.a Eobard Thawn), a straight white male and a man who's murdered several women, I think your metaphor is a bit selective. Here's that shovel back. You do realize in my example of women's suffrage and copyright, you are the straight white male who doesn't think women should be allowed the vote because it's not "natural"?
*hands shovel back*

That's your comparison, not mine. Furthermore, it is questionable whether someone like me would have existed 100 years ago, given the fact that may parents are of different ethnicities and religious denominations. (Not that it matters, because this is all basically a tangent.)It's true, I know nothing about you in real life. I'm only comparing your postition to those of 100 years ago[...]
I did not continue to insist that it was genetic. That was a one time comment that you continue to harp on. My general argument was that the concept of physical was more naturally intuitive than copyright infringement. Given the complex nature of copyright law and the fact that infringement is very time and context sensitive, I fail to see how you can dispute that.[...]and this idea of what is natural and not natural---something that you brought up if you recall. Remember I called it a silly line of argument, but you kept insisting somethings are natural and encoding in our genetics and somethings aren't.
When the scroll wheel isn't enough...Well, since I made some two-click adjustments, this topic has gotten more confusing, but less annoying. Good trade-off.
The message board I originally made them for had spoiler tags so the images wouldn't be uncovered or need to be dowloaded unless a viewer wanted to see the "spoilers." When just one part is like 25 images, it can be annoying to some their browsers drag or get hung up and is sometimes unresponsive until all those images are downloaded and displayed, particularly if they aren't interested in the photo strip. They might not even be able to scroll past it until it's fully downloaded.Oh go ahead. My scroll wheel works just fine.
