In an unexpected just-because-we-feel-like-it twist, writers have asserted that Boomer is actually Mr. Bigglesworth, and runs everything via creating an illusion of bottomless money wells just behind computer screens. Motivation: a walk on part. Lots and lots of walk on parts. With sushi rewards.

Alec says, to paraphrase, "why should I have listened to those people who don't know what they are talking about in their echo chamber?".

Well, this is why. You have wasted years of your life, Alec. You have wasted large amounts of fan money. You have wasted years of other peoples' lives too, where they have made efforts on this project.

It was you who caused it all to be wasted by insisting on acting in ways that were guaranteed to be shot down and rolled back into disaster.

And while no one can claim to have foreseen every twist and turn of what form the pushback would take, your "Haters" did you the service point by point, well in advance for you, of identifying just about every act you took that was going to create harmful consequences for you and those who have supported you. In many cases, they pointed out how you could correct it.

This project has not been a rage against the machine holy crusade for truth in Trek, as you portray it. This project has been an effort to build yourself a business for free out of resources that weren't yours to have.

And it has been, and inevitably ever was, a total waste of years of your time, and the time and resources of others.

Don't want to admit it? Figure it out when you turn in the keys to your moneyspinner.

When making a fan film with others

With money from props, he sowed a kick start
To fleece the good fans so early

The idea sounded good as other had proved

Axanar would be top of the line
Changing fan films now and forever.

As budgets would go it was bigger than most
As it had to be the brightest.

Burning some bridges, on the road to his riches
He pulled stakes and moved out to Cali


When the trailer was made, he was king for a day
But his head quickly outgrew his laurel

The fans were upset that prelude was the start
And not the actual product.

More money was needed to make it all sound
So go buy a patch, print or model.

Every man knew as CBS did too
What was happening was really stealin’

The coffers grew fat and da sales pitchs came fast
He needed your money to finish

When the goal had made the budget insane
But still no work on the project

When CBS said stop Old Alec just laughed

Later on down CBS came out right and said
what was legal and worthy.

Does any one know how the fan films will go
Now that CBS laid down the guidelines

The zealots all say CBS was afraid
of the magic and wonder of Alec

It would have been great and astounding to boot
To see Garth battle the Klingons

Now all the that remains are the donors names
Still waiting for all their cool perks

Hopefully AP will take the lack of interest in his latest fleecing errr, I mean IGG campaign as a big f*ck you from fans. I hope he and his loyal supporters realize the jig is up and move on to some other unsuspecting group (fresh meat) and leave Trek alone to recover from all of the damage he has caused. How can one guy destroy an entire thriving segment of fandom? If I did not witness it myself, I wouldn't have believed it.

Nope. His latest Q&A over at FFF indicates plans for several more crowdfunding campaigns coming.
 
I doubt any crowd funding campaign from AP will be successful at this point or ever again for Trek material. He has really screwed himself with his lashing out at donors for asking questions, wasting over 1.4 million on . . . nothing . . . and not producing the movie. Anyone at this point who still gives this guy money is just stupid. I can only see a small group following him anymore and certainly not enough to donate enough to produce a film (or pay rent on the new improved studio in Atlanta; even though most of the Axanar film will be filmed in L.A.; yeah, right!).
