That's because there are no completed sets. If there were, we would see pictures literally everywhere. Probably accompanied by a bunch of "See, I told you so!" snarks too. What sets? I never saw any photos of completed sets.

The three Ds: Deny, Deflect and Demonize.
"Earn." You said "earn."The three Ds: Deny, Deflect and Demonize.
Jeez...why isn't this dick running for office? He is a natural politician, and if there's any job where you can earn beaucoup cash for doing fuck-all...
Dude! My bad!!!"Earn." You said "earn."![]()
Along with photos of the uncompleted bridge set (which hasn't been touched/worked on in over a year?), there was this on Axanar Productions' site...........

To misquote Garfield-you can't destroy what wasn't build. Were they talking of destroying sets already? Was that before or after the filming is done?![]()

Why would he rebuild? That implies he's planning on making something. He could always rebuild them...
CBS wasted a million dollars in legal fees on this sad debacle? No. It didn't cost a million dollars to make this parasite go away. Even in defeat he thinks he's the biggest loser. Yuuugh!
I think the notes of caution are in order. Alec has shown unwavering determination to use every possible venue to sell his official story rather than actually answer any questions with objective information. He has shown so little regard for the intellect of listeners that he has spent years shouting down and censoring even his own supporters asking reasonable questions. He redirected so much money from a very rich fundraising history that even a fan film could not get created. That's just outrageous.
Its hard for me to imagine he would let his guard down in any way at all for one more interview. Forcing his views on others and slamming down and disappearing anything that implies alternative takes around his projects has been his 1000% goto reflex when challenged.
Its disappointing to reach this conclusion about someone, but he has earned it. I do suggest you try to assess early on whether he is playing you. Have a strategy for discussion that doesn't corner you into being steamrollered into being passive towards outrageous statements, if he's just selling the same old stuff.
Best of luck.
Apologies all, I was distracted by the new concrete path I constructed to my shed yesterday and totally missed the alarm to pop back in and exclaim APRIL FOOLS!
I enjoyed this one, especially reading peoples response to it. Surely you would know that I would never give Lord Garth carte blanch on my show. Let him be damned.
Jeepers, what CBS has or has not learned? Ha! They're not the ones in danger of eviction. And they didn't lose anything they didn't budget for - legal is a standard line item for every single legit corporation on the planet.
But hey, keep telling yourself that, AP.
#spoileralert - transporting those sets won't be cheap or easy, and you might even have to lift a few fingers to help.
#secondspoileralert - you've also go to move your props and costumes some place. That won't be easy or cheap, either.
#thirdspoileralert - you've got diminishing returns on crowdfunding. That's going to continue. You hit your height. The slide is following the law of gravity, and it will continue to.
#fourthspoileralert - even 'private crowdfunding' won't work forever. Someone on your inner list will get a sick kid (heaven forbid) or a cloud on their real estate title or a car accident or will lose a job or have to take care of a dying elder (it happens to many people) or the like and the first line item in their budget they are going to cut is you.
What gets me is that so many of these other fan productions have managed to create so much at just a sliver of a fraction Alec Peters demanded to make Axanar. Hell, let's use Star Trek Continues as an example of just how this could have gone.Having seen part one of Renegades: The Requiem, I keep wondering why Alec didn't do the same thing and scrub the Trek elements from the Axanar script? Considering Axanar only has one legacy Trek actor playing their original character (Gary Graham as Soval) versus Renegades' eight (Chekov, Uhura, Tuvok, Jadzia, Ichab, Nog, Jake and Chakotay analogues, all played by the originals), it seems utterly pointless.
He can still do it, and make his full 90-minute movie. Well, except that he'll never get the funding for it again and he's about to lose the studio he pissed all his original funding away on.
Define the word 'stay'. Make sure to use Jack Russell Terriers in your example. Essay should be about 100 words in length.Didn't Alec once suggest to an established person in the industry that he and his studio were there to stay? How's that working for him now?
