His mom doesn't send him to bed. She wakes him up to watch Star Trek. :techman:
Schedule:
8 PM Strict bedtime! Set alarm for 9:55 PM.
9:55 PM Alarm goes off. Wake up elementary schooler to watch Star Trek.
10 - 11 PM Watch Star Trek. No talking! Only ambient sounds are a fan or air conditioner or space heater as weather requires. Occasional soft yet respectful crunching sounds as Cheez-doodles are consumed.
11:01 - 11:05 PM Tooth brushing and flossing, plus hand washing with soap and warm water so as to remove all evidence of Cheez-doodles consumption.
11:06 PM Strict second bedtime! Set alarm for 6:55 AM.
7 AM Wake elementary schooler.
7:01 AM Put on coffee. Kharn roast preferred.

This reminds me: was anyone else underwhelmed by the packaging/presentation of the Axanar coffee? With such a ludicrous concept, I expected them to go all out instead of slapping a sticker on a generic plastic bag.

That is actually exactly the level of quality I would expect. Maybe more so.

Thread has devolved into "entertaining" crap and frivolity.

Can you take it to The Neutral Zone instead of doing it here, please? Otherwise, I may have to police you more if you can't police yourselves.

"You wanted to see if you could post something, but you didn't stop to ask yourselves if you *should* post something."

It's parody, protected speech. We just went through this.

What would be the odds that CBS/Paramount abandons this whole lawsuit mess and simply states that you can make all the fan Trek films you wish, just don't post it on any type of electronic/ social media or distribute though the mail.
That would still leave the Trek in the Park untouched.

That would be such an impossible task for Paramount/CBS to keep a track of, I don't think they'd be willing to put in the amount of time necessary to watch for this stuff.

It might be a task on smaller video sites but it seems you only have to give Youtube notice and it becomes Youtube problem to deal with.
