I did that once with Jolt Cola. I was buzzing for days.I've taken tablets like that once, on a holiday drive back from England to Scotland. They work wonders, but never again!![]()

I drink the occasional Monster energy drink (I like the Rehab Tea + Pink Lemonade combination). I only drink the ones that contain 160mg or less (equivalent to two 8 oz. cups of coffee), but they don't leave me buzzed or jittery. I usually have decent energy for about 3 or 4 hours, and then it fades away. I figure if I don't make it a daily habit, it's all good.I did that once with Jolt Cola. I was buzzing for days.
That reminds me of something I was going to ask last week. I read a quote by Alec Peters that the first he knew that CBS was unhappy with his Axanar project was when he read on a news site that he was being sued. Why was he not served papers?? Is that not standard procedure when one gets sued? I thought that was part of the legal process, to serve notice in-person to the defendant. Does anyone really believe he wasn't served papers? (For that matter, does anyone really believe CBS never sent him a C&D letter?)If Does are added to the complaint, would they be notified today? How does that work? Someone knocks on their door and says, "Ya just got served, nerd?"
We aim to please.I was waiting for someone to make a No-Doz joke.
He was served. Axanar Productions one day, LFIM the next (if my memory of the timeline is correct, but I don't remember the dates). That reminds me of something I was going to ask last week. Like much of Alec's versions I believe this should be taken with a LARGE grain of salt. I will try to find where he or RMB talked about the server arriving at the Studio/Warehouse........I think they even took a photo of him. I remember people bitching about him not looking "professional" enough. Why was he not served papers??
The papers being served was the cause of the Sushi Event too.........Does anyone really believe he wasn't served papers? (For that matter, does anyone really believe CBS never sent him a C&D letter?)
Searching............but I am SURE it has been scrubbed by now.@Sgt_G
I know he said that, but didn't Alec or someone else from Axanar not post a picture of the papers being served?
EDIT: I see KennyB remembers a photograph too.
Jolt Cola: All the sugar, and twice the caffeine.I drink the occasional Monster energy drink (I like the Rehab Tea + Pink Lemonade combination). Ah yes, I remember Jolt Cola. From what I read, Jolt had the same, or slightly more, caffeine content as many energy drinks today, though modern energy drinks like to cloak themselves in healthfulness (Get your B-complex vitamins!). The average 16 oz can of Jolt had 176mg of caffeine.Jolt Cola: All the sugar, and twice the caffeine.
It's a warrior's drink (but I'm more of a beer guy).
