Why would he even be part of a discussion of starship design ? its a very similar situation to, going back a few months ago, were he was part of a 'future of Battlestar Galactica' con panel :wtf:
I wasn't on a Battlestar panel. I will be at DCC as part of the Trekyards booth. I will be on a couple of design panels with Rick Sternbach and John Eaves, but NOT with Alec.

It seemed to me that you were baiting him. I get that you have legitimate issues there (and I'm no fan of AP and RMB), but there's something to be said for taking the high road. It's one thing to have a go at someone when it's on topic, but it gave the feeling that you inserted yourself there, off-topic, for the sole purpose of getting into a spat with him.

His first post was a dig at Rod Roddenberry for making a cameo in a fan film, as if STC was no different than Axanar, so I was making the point to him that there was a difference--and what it was. He then went after me. I'm a professional writer and even *I* wouldn't get involved in a war of words with another writer. I don't know what he was thinking. :)

I got the 20000 post! :alienblush:
Well at least until someone deletes their past posts :)

I just wish I had something meaningful and thought provoking to add to the discussion! :brickwall:

Does anyone know when the Does will be announced?

Let us hope that any well intentioned and hard working people do not get sued for mistakes made by Alec Peters and co.

Sean will not be speaking at the Axanar panel.
@carlosp
I found I have strong questions abt this convention thing:
-Who is funding the travel, housing, food for the defendant for the Denver thing? Is the defendant independently financially sound enough for these costs or something? Someone else is covering them? And the attorney is pro bono & covering basic court expenses up to this point? But there are, so this thread posts, significant personal costs aside from what the attorney is covering? And who's covering those costs? And the PR guy is all volunteer? (as per Mr. Bawden) About a film made/or not depending, with other people's money? And a studio, rent, production costs paid with other people's money? And still, more conventions?
-The second question that came to my mind: 'You (the defendant) are going to discuss the ongoing settlement negotiations? At a venue of reasonable size? I thought none of the involved were suppose to do this kind of thing?'
