I am always skeptical when I hear "violator A was told by rightsholder that they will next go after violator B". Why would they share that information?
So you've said this before, I think I agree.Nothing about this has felt right since he made the announcement.
Making a personal statement against someone actually is a bit connected to the length of time you're here.
It's one thing for what's his name to have an issue — he's established on here, and that's fine. But you, you're not ... you're new. But walked into this place like you've been here forever, passing judgement on people who have been here for many, many years.
I have a suggestion for you: stay away from getting personal with the posters, and just stick to the topic at hand. Sound good?
1) That new announcement seems almost a copy of the previous one about Horizon
2) They are complaining about the delivery of sushi being suspended? Is that not a admittance of donor money being used for non trek related items...?
3) What is happening about Diana 1? She seems to have been replaced by Diana 2 - does Diana 1 still work for/at Axanar?
4) Why did they expect that a resturant would allow an animal into their premises?
It's a joke son.
Nothing to back it up, but I tend to think that NV/P2 and STC have been ok so far because they are making episodes of a 50 year old show that was cancelled 47 years ago. No confusion as to what they are, as admitted by Lord Foot-In-Mouth himself. Some other productions are in a very grey area, where some viewers might think they are watching official CBS/Paramount Trek.So you've said this before, I think I agree.
Let's break down what doesn't seem right.
1. Why did they get a phone call to shut down, when they didn't get one about the release of their film? Does this mean CBS was allowing people to release finished works but not start new ones?
2. Why did they get one when Star Trek Continues did not? Is it because they think Continues will suffer from their failed indigogo? Is it because they think that Continues will put up a fight like Axanar and they'll deal with them after they win against Axanar? Has Continues done something to stay in the good graces of CBS?
3. Did CBS pick them just to make an example?
4. Where is Renegades in all of this? They haven't started production yet, they certainly are more inline with Axanar than Continues.
I can say with some certainty that Continues would not put up a fight like Axanar. Vic has said publicly that if CBS told them to stop tomorrow they would stop and thank CBS for what they had been allowed to do.So you've said this before, I think I agree.

....Lord Foot-In-Mouth himself....
........today LFIM Alec Peters is one day closer to complete and total irrelevancy.
James Crawley has said the same thing.I can say with some certainty that Continues would not put up a fight like Axanar. Vic has said publicly that if CBS told them to stop tomorrow they would stop and thank CBS for what they had been allowed to do.
Is there a chance their $9000 phone system failed? This whole Horizon thing where Tommy has got the nod from CBS to stop while he's ahead makes me wonder whether, despite APs protestations to the contrary, Axanar ever got 'that' phone call and ignored it?
We've seen a tendency to be deaf to what they don't want to hear, after all.
How much weight does CBS give that? Didn't Alec say the same thing? I'm really thinking it might be a matter of having the lawsuit done and over before going after the bigger productions. But I hope notJames Crawley has said the same thing.
Sorry, not the first time I made that mistake. His name is Cawley, not Crawley.
