I would support you but I have given all my money to the "let's rebuild the Star Trek 1 Enterprise" project already, sorry.

I think a summary of this thread would be cool. For those, who don't have the time to read it all.
1. CBS has sued Axanar.
That sums it up? One could add a reason perhaps.

Coffee!

I have a feeling 'Peter's Tears' will be the hot seller!
That will go great with the complimentary lawsuit napkins.

Will there be a public trial with a jury? I have seen a picture of Matlock in the thread. Someone from us could go and make notes. I live a little too far I guess but it would be cool. Or will the trial be on youtube?

That lawsuit summons ain't no joke.

At this point, I think the Axanar team needs to stop grandstanding....not tell everyone their business....and focus on making things right with the copyright holders. Based on the actions I've come across, I don't see that happening...until they get into court.

With that said, I'm noticing CBS is a Delaware corporation. I understand it's not as restrictive as California. For example, I made a corporation years ago, also set in Delaware because of the less restrictive policies, but had to close it down due to not having income for the company...and still learning the ropes on how to get my foot in the door of the film/tv biz. (A production company wasn't needed at that point).

This Axanar business is a great lesson, however, in just how to conduct oneself in a professional manner no matter your stance in certain matters. I still can't get over how they bad-mouthed Tony Todd (the primary 'name' actor in the production) out in the open and still expected him to come back.

What was there with Tony Todd? I have tried to google the answer but didn't find the right one I guess.

And this matters because...?
