CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

on that subject of Axanar, they fouled things up with CBS and Paramount with some certain issues that money actually went to. from personal view, the money went to Ares Studios, not the actual production of the series. i have little knowledge of the issues that CBS and Paramount has with Peter and his whole team.

Has Continues gotten their tax exempt status yet or have they just filled? They're reasoning is incredibly flimsy. Star Trek as science education? This is the show with the giant space amoeba and cloud that sucks blood.

Is that you HAVE little knowledge or you HAVE A little knowledge?

They have filed but not received the exemption as far as I know. Here's a link to their explanation of their nonprofit justification.

ONLY little. i actually have been trying to get through to CBS bosses to discuss Star Trek when i heard about this lawsuit.
i did my research into where the money went and how much they had gotten. i honestly believe that they're funneling fans's money into their Studios.

honestly, Axanar Team has made their last stand. i'm afraid.

I'm pretty sure CBS already knows.

Is Burnett entertaining everyone?

He's a bit Danny Glover to Alec's Mel Gibson isn't he?

He is just getting shredded over there. I feel bad for him, but angry that he works in the business but doesn't really seem to know what's going on.

As a modeler and a Trek fan, I almost bought one of the Aries models, but elected not to due to financial considerations and lack of shelf space. Now I'm kinda wishing that I had. Something tells me that it's going to be a collectors item.

Hope nothing happens to the guy who created it. He's known in the modeling community as a pretty decent guy.

So far he seems to not be talking much on #StandWithCBS
I hope we didn't scare the beejeebees out of him.
I'm just being my usually funny & sometimes snarky self.

I think he wanted to show Alec how it's done - present a calm, reasonable, cheerful and friendly face to the critics.

I'm afraid he's discovered that not many people are interested in discussing the quality of the Axanar work now.

Same here! I'm being a paragon of fucking whimsy, and not a peep.
