I just really don't understand these people sometime. Their endgame makes no sense. (Not like they'll ever get the chance to make their little movie.)

PS - Page 700!!!! W00t!

I've said for years that a documentary about the people and the psychology of people who make these fan films would make for a fascinating project, if you could get everyone to agree to do it.

Also: if a documentary about this whole embarrassment about Axanar gets made, I sincerely hope it will be called Casting Dispersions.

I know he's been banned repeated, but I kind of wish Peters was here, just so we could get responses to some of the points you guys have brought up.

The likelihood that Alec would answer any question without first reframing it to remove any challenges to his desires is the philosophy of Mathematics definition of zero.

Listen to a few of his podcasts. There is just no hope of any other view.

I believe at 700 pages we are too long for a Star Wars fan film under their contest rules.

As defense counsel, may I make my argument. If you reduce Star Wars to its elements, every fanfilm by definition must be violating the rules, and you can't hold us responsible for something they don't follow themselves!

You know, I've been jumping between TrekBBS and one of my astronomy forums this evening, and on coming back here I accidently clicked on my toolbar bookmark for the Star Trek Online forum. Noticing the Mirror Universe female in the banner, I decided to have a look for some fan art in their Ten Forward forum!

In it I noticed there is a thread on the lawsuit posted. Now, it's only 25 pages long, but reading page 25 only, it seems as if Online fans are discussing the lawsuit sanely and sensibly, including various links to the AxaMonitor site (go Carlos!).

So, in a forum where they could be considered to be a niche within a niche of Trek fandom (and if Star Trek Online is anything like World of Warcraft that I played, a LOT of it will be 'pew, pew, pew', and although I don't play Online, I did used to wargame FASA's Star Trek Starship Tactical Simulator for many years, so I am of like mind! It's why I liked Prelude to Axanar!), the sensible information is out there on other forums.

Where else might they be getting their info? I search axanar lawsuit and haven't really seen sources other than ones known here. Wondering if there are inside feeds from the Ares or the like...
