Still want a Four Years War film.
I could do without it. For one thing, there's already a space movie franchise about wars, and it's not Star Trek. For another, covering a whole war in one movie is a bit much. For another, it's just something out of an old role playing game manual. I don't remember there ever being any reference to a Four Years War with the Klingons anywhere in canon Trek. If anything, "Errand of Mercy" suggests that there never was a full-on war:
KIRK: We have legitimate grievances against the Klingons. They've invaded our territory, killed our citizens. They're openly aggressive. They've boasted that they'll take over half the galaxy.
KOR: Why not? We're the stronger! You've tried to hem us in, cut off vital supplies, strangle our trade! You've been asking for war!
KIRK: You're the ones who issued the ultimatum to withdraw from the disputed areas!
KOR: They are not disputed! They're clearly ours. And now you step in with some kind of trick.

You'd think Kirk or Kor might mention that they had a long, drawn out war during this conversation.
