Dave Galanter's quote about Alec Peters' overstatement of the author's involvement in the Axanar script is on AxaMonitor.Didn't Dave Galanter basically say Peters was lying about his involvement? And who is Doc John?

A tiny bit more: "Doc John" is John Muenchrath--who is, in fact, an M.D. (Urologist). Doc John uses the stage name "John Kelley" (as a bit of an homage to actor DeForest Kelley.). John played Dr. McCoy in our STNV/PII productions since our outset--before being replaced fleetingly by David Sherin and then Jeff Bond. (Doc John also returned to the McCoy role in October of last year for the Axanar vignette "Heroes.")Galanter has gone on record saying his involvement was minimal, just offering occasional comments and suggestions. It would seem Peters has been trying to inflate the kind of work people have done on the film for some reason.
Doc John is also known as "John Kelley," who played Doctor McCoy on New Voyages for several years before handing the role over to Jeff Bond.
LOL!! Oh my God...A meme apropos for today, taking one of the corniest lines from Peters' horrendous early draft. Beware...

This should be added into the summary that The Grand Nagus is compiling!Wil Wheaton's Tumblr calls out Axanar as "epic douchecanoes" and:
They are morally and ethically and legally in the wrong, and while I have a lot of problems with copyright and IP law, these guys are not the people I want to be the poster children for reforming those laws.
Kind of surprised at the Lin post. That won't go over well...

It will have characters as well, but as it is a war story, there will be plenty of space action, so please don´t bother and spare yourself the disappointment. Thank you!

A theoretical question for posters: What will you do if Paramount/CBS settles the lawsuit, and gave support towards the production of Axanar? Either by just allowing the project to continue, or actually getting involved with the project, and releasing it as a sanctioned project.
I know this is a largely anti Axanar thread, and I myself have mixed feelings about it. I am a supporter of many fan projects though, and still want to see this project, and others continue to be made. Without delving into the "fan film politics" and issues with members of the team. How would you feel if Paramount changes their tune? Also how would you feel if Paramount, decided to start going after all fan productions.
As a donor of Axanar I will enjoy my perks and watch, as someone who remembers how long and how many delays without as excuse have been made, like in October when filming was supposed to start
And another very important question if you have the time and logic.... Who would win in a footrace; A Klingon or a Vulcan???![]()
No way in hell The Big Boys let this movie get made, much less make it canon. As a donor I'll watch and enjoy my perks, but I don't see that happening, I doubt CBS/P wasted time and money to bring this suit to allow Axanar to be made or to actually work with them.
I expect we'll find out soon enough. They have proven they can't deliver a completed product. I'm not talking about Prelude to Axanar. I'm talking about August 15, 2015 Captain's Log to we have a locked script it's been priced out and we're set to go. To your Honor there is not script. Alec and Rob lied to the donors or they lied to the court which is it?

If they lied to the court, it for damn sure matters. Judges have no sense of humor about that. Not sure it mattered who they lied to because they aren't ready.
They've been in the warehouse for more than a year and still don't have completed sets. They have no actors actually signed and they only have a fraction of the money needed to make Axanar.
Even if CBS dropped the suit tomorrow, they would still need at least another year to put the funds together to make the movie.
Contempt is such a nasty word.If they lied to the court, it for damn sure matters. Judges have no sense of humor about that.

Gotcha.I was talking about our little world. I can imagine a judge wouldn't find the changing narrative... irritating.![]()

He's going to shape-shift into Les Moonves' wife and lure him into a cellar. After padlocking the door, he'll shape-shift into Moonves and tell his lawyers to drop the charges. Then he'll return to Ares Studios and shape-shift into a competent writer to redo his entire script.
