I even specifically suggested to him that it would be wise to use their PR guy, Mike Bawden, to come up with a consistent public message, and his reply was, "My work is my public message," and he plugged an upcoming feature project that he edited.Oh boy. Why do they even engage? They should know to leave well enough alone for their own sake.
Studio, warehouse. To-MA-to. To-MAH-TOE.
Probably we did everything else from Conventions to Sushi.Did fans donate for those chairs?
I hadn't realized Alec finally decided to recast the part of Garth. Did he comment on why? Something to the effect of: "It's not in the project's best interest for a gangly man with no talent (who looks 10 years older than the man who portrayed the original, 20-years-older version of Garth) to portray the main character. Also, Tony Todd left in part because I can't act."
Kidding, of course, on that admission. But curious what his stated reason was.

The important thing is base this case on the merits of the law what usually goes on in the court system. Janet and Mike are great resources to understand what is going on. When the trial happens I'm sure we will have the popcorn ready, we just don't know what type of ending this film has yet.![]()

Considering the true value of Burnett's time, that bill should be a grand total of $0.08.Oh no, guys... Little Robbie's brought out the only weapon more terrifying than the D7

Neil! That's "fully professional independent Star Trek feature."So since the lawsuit it's gone from being an independent Star Trek film shot in a studio to a fan film shot in a warehouse?
Today in a Twitter exchange with @AxaMonitor, Robert Burnett said the studio they've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on to refit is actually NOT a studio. It's "just a warehouse." They refer to it as a studio in the way an artist calls his workspace a studio. That's a quote. Seriously.
Warning: It's a long Twitter thread, rife with cognitive dissonance.

That is absolutely awesome work! You guys are doing a great job at building out the studio! I guess this means that Ares will be able to sustain other projects that will help generate income for the Studio and eventually make it self sustaining?

Yes, exactly.
So since the lawsuit it's gone from being an independent Star Trek film shot in a studio to a fan film shot in a warehouse?

In a way, if Peters is truly a fan, I feel sorry for him. Right now, he is the center of attention. But once CBS is done with him, he will be broke and not welcome in the community of fans. Even those who support him right now will bleed away quickly once the discovery phase is made public.
It really is sad. But Peters needs to look in the mirror if he truly wants to know who is to blame for his current situation.
