Well they already trashed the transporter set, but it had only been partly built anyway.
The good news is that the bridge set was built on wheels so all Alec needs to do is push it to another studio. It might hold up traffic a bit, but he could always do it at night.

He could simply tell them--it's to expensive to move, it'll be cheaper to rebuild. And then just never rebuild them.

Just not tell anyone he's trashed them.

Tell them, he's trashing them because in the new shorter version (CBS's fault) he doesn't need the sets.
