Who cares, is anyone caring about this waste of two perfectly good minutes?
I care. There's no reason to be rude. LFIM self-admittedly taking CBS/P's IP only to turn around claiming it's his IP to intimidate others into silence is something I hope Loeb & Loeb becomes aware of.
Didn't mean to be rude, apologies for coming off that way. Just the years of Alec this, Peters that, the man is nothing, void of true concepts except for shaking down Star Trek fans for a million plus dollars to produce what, a green screen?
The guy enlisted my help 4-5 years ago and when I question the morality of his plan, he could only reply that he read a couple of books. I laughed him off as a want-to-be then and when on to join a real fan film club with ethics and meanwhile this turd just won't flush!

yes the Ares is a original design.
I gotta say... That trailer was really really awful. Alec looked really off in his performance,and while the CGI is nicely composed, it doesn't have the energy it really requires for the dramatic battles they want to portray. This isn't entirely surprising though since it's a hodge-podge of New Voyages footage and Tobias' stuff with some blown-out audio. (Really, who balanced their audience? Could have fixed that in two seconds by capping the audio in the editor... )
As compared to what? The man has no acting experience. And, no, acting like a *bleep* to people who disagree with him does not count. Parts of his interview scenes in Prelude were okay, but I do suspect they had to reshoot and edit him much more than the others just to make his part passable.
Alec Peters: The new Ed Wood. Except that Ed Wood actually made movies. But still, quality work there.
Yes, as compared to Prelude. He looks really off by comparison to what was passable in Prelude. And that's saying something.
Gossett's presence as director made all the difference.
