OK, someone actually was paying attention at Paramount.

It's nice to imagine the lawyers calling the agents of Faran Tahir, Tony Amendola, and Pat Tallman (if she still has one) to find out the terms under which those actors agreed to participate. (IANAL and don't know if this is something they'd actually do, but it seems like a good idea.) If this actually goes back to arbitration it may come up then, if the violation of the professional actors clause was one of the reasons CBS/Paramount decided to act.

It'll also be interesting to see if any of those three make any public statements, or just pretend none of this ever happened.

Do we know how long ago these segments were filmed?
I seem to remember Peters update videos from 2024 or 2023 saying they were doing additional photography and pick ups around this time. I'm not sure if they did anything in the last year or so.

I would guess the professional actors filmed their parts over a decade ago with how long this has dragged on. With Trek being in the dry spell it had been back then they probably just thought appearing was a gift to the fans more than anything else. Neither they nor their agents could have predicted the epic shit show the project became.
