Eh, it was okay. If you removed every scrap of the Axanar debacle from your mind and watched this as a follow-up to the first one it's fine. Or it fits, if you get me. The positives and negatives are basically the same as the first one for the most part.
I dunno about switching in Pat Tallman for Kate Vernon...I'd have maybe preferred a different character. It's weird that they re-cast her but worked around what they had (or didn't have) with Gary Graham, Richard Hatch, and Tony Todd rather then re-cast.
EDIT: Wait, scratch all that. I meant to say that CBS must be kicking themselves for letting this one get away. It makes them all look like utter fools who can't make Trek, and they're embarrassed now because some humble man can single-handedly make better Trek than them.
