It was a technically it was late but it looks like the judge was going to accept it anyway and with a defendant on the other side of the country they are likely going to get some extra leway because of that with many judges.

Ok. Just saw this after I posted. That answers my question. Thanks!

So basically... and I know this will be a HUGE surprise to everybody in this thread. In this case, LFIM has no idea what he is talking about. I know.. I know.. that's a shocker.
[Iago]Oh, dere's a surprise! I think I'm gonna have a heart attack and die from dat surprise![\Iago]

This thread is endlessly depressing, so, apropos of nothing, maybe these pix of me and some guy I chatted up will make some of you smile.

It’s a double-sized issue of AxaMonitor Daily for subscribers today, as we recap the legal maneuverings and mendaciousness surrounding Alec Peters’ litigation against former Axanar director Robert Meyer Burnett.

It ain’t over ’til it’s over: Read the dismissal in Georgia state court of Peters’ case against Burnett and whether Burnett can still face litigation from Peters in the future.

Two birds’ lawsuits, one legal stone: Axanar’s former PR director, Mike Bawden, finds himself drawn into a new proposed settlement in the dispute between Peters and Burnett — to the tune of $18,000. We have a copy of the settlement offer!

$$$,$$$ How much is Peters willing to spend to teach Burnett a lesson? We’ve got the emails to show it.

Fact-checking: How many Mudds does Peters get for his version of abandoning his Georgia lawsuit against Burnett? Surprise! Some unexpected truthfulness!

How is fandom receiving Axanar apologist Jonathan Lane’s proposed “Axanar universe” fan film, Interlude? Let’s just say he’s having a hard time going off-brand.

Axanar's 'Heroes' Vignette

This may be the only Axanar you ever see, coming in late June: the "Heroes" 15-min. vignette, shot on the New Voyages sets in 2015. This clip, exclusive to AxaMonitor, was posted by director Robert Meyer Burnett.

If I'm wrong I'll say so, but I think this whole SL movie thing is driven by AP taking the reins behind the scenes. AP has shown that the one thing he is good at is manipulating people, and I think SL might be naive enough to let AP drive the ship. Right into the ground. Again.
Taking into account AP's antics laid bare in and during the lawsuit and Lane's all is well aboard the Titanic blog puff pieces anything they do or say inspires suspicious cynicism on my part. I have no doubt AP is getting something out of this like those uniforms and patches if nothing else.
