Back to axanews, it looks like a copy of the official complaint against RMB by AP has been retrieved. There are added causes of defamation and confidentiality violations. Also, evidently the phrase "alec peters doesn't keep him promises" is considered defamation that causes irreparable harm... oh yeah and Axanar produces "scient fiction"

That's great comedy, right there. I bet AP typed it up himself, being trained as an attorney and all. I especially like the quotes from Burnett about AP not keeping promises. It reminds me of a Gallagher joke about a certain politician, which by virtue of my superior breeding and the for sake of good taste I will not post here (but I might share via PM). :techman:

And the cell phone pics of the NDA still in the binder? :guffaw:

I have a free scanner app on my phone. Works pretty daggone good.

WHERE'S THE MOVIE, ALEC?

Is it normal to fund raise monies from the public, then use part of those collected funds to make an unsecured & undisclosed loan to a private party?

If the money was raised using somebody else's IP to be used to make a freaking fan film then no that would not be normal.

I don't find any expiration date on the NDA it won't hold up in court without trade secrets implied

Love the mug, but, not so much the price point.

yeah but you're really just a cheap hater that'll never achieve anything in life while i bring joy and exitement to the people around me. they only failed because they didn't raise enough money, right. that would have never happened, if their company name had reflected the branch better. they should have been named something like this and gotten their employees one of these subtely labelled babies that can store up to 2 million in fan money and they wouldn't have quit.

OK I wonder if LFIM bothered to change his residency to GA...........The filing is about actions that happened in California......California resident as a Defendant.....California company as plaintiff......about actions that happened in California. Why again is this being filed in a Georgia court?

Launched on her maiden shake down, center seat not yet bolted to the deck and half the turbo lifts non functional, the USS Integrity receives a distress call. All indication points to the USS Aries attacking federation outposts. Has the Aries been boarded or it's crew and captain gone insane? The Integrity's orders are to lock down systems en route and stop or destroy the Aries.

If Alec’s worried about Rob not making any behind the scenes documentaries for Axanar, I recommend he check out Rob’s website. There’s a few good ones on there that might fit the bill ;)

Must admit I’m surprised Alec actually pulled the trigger on this lawsuit. I can only imagine it going badly for him. It’s just a matter of how badly.

I'm pretty sure it can be proved in court that Alex doesn't keep his promises.

I love the idea that Rob’s been coming out with all these scandalous untruths thatve damaged Alec irreparably. In truth Rob’s just the latest to come out with very similar stories and you’d need to go back a few years to find where the original “damage” was done.

If anything I’d say the most damaging thing to Alec was his own behaviour while being interviewed by @mirrormatt86. Everything after that, during the lawsuit etc was just gravy. The behaviour everyone else had mentioned was right there on display for everyone to judge.

(PS loved the new interview with Christian @mirrormatt86)

He didn't verify he received the correct fabric?? Well, color me not-surprised.
The first thing I do every time I get a delivery is open it up and make sure it's exactly what I ordered. I thought everyone did that?

Wow, I can't believe I've never seen that, I'm a huge The Big Bang Theory fan.
As for the lawsuit against RMB, can something be defamation if it's true? This is an honest question, I had always assumed for something to be defamation it had to be a lie, but I'm not sure of the actual legal definition.
The Georgia thing is really confusing too. I would think you would file the lawsuit where the events in question happened.
