I feel like now, you're sort of punching down. At this point, people are going to donate have plenty of information out there....If they want to be foolish and part with their money....

Well, what is really left of Axanar? What’s really left of Peters? It’s not like we are talking about someone who is currently scamming people out of a million dollars. It’s a guy who is desperate for rent money. He’s a sad man. What’s left to tell? What’s left to really reveal? You’ve more than won with the truth, you have shined light, you’ve disinfected. He’s down and pretty much out. That’s what I mean. What’s the use of clubbing him further with the truth?
Gosh, I'd love to be able to take that kind of credit but the reality is that he will have — with relatively little effort, actually — managed to convince people to pony up $30,000 a year via Patreon. According to his claim, another $14,400 from YouTube monetization and superchats — $44,400 a year to pay for his warehouse, convincing people it's a studio when it's not, convincing them that with no actual production in four years he's still worth putting money into.
All this is to ramp up to trying to get another quarter-million dollars to pay for the Axanar shorts. He continues to get people — YouTubers and bloggers with wide audiences — to fly his "let's save 'real' Trek" banner. There's an audience for this.
Not to mention that he's operating a continuing propaganda campaign aimed at discrediting me personally, without even engaging with all the documented facts and citations backing up my work. And people believe him. He still commands audiences of tens of thousands in which he makes these accusations; who's clubbing whom exactly?

Alec Peters is a con-man continuing to swindle people out of money for a production that will never happen. As far as I'm concerned, the ongoing truth to power of Axamonitor is necessary until Peters quits taking money under false pretenses.
He's not a desperate man. He's a narcissist. He thrives on the attention the lawsuit and Axamonitor gives him. And he needs to vilify Carlos so that he can be the hero to his "Real Trek" audience. I have no pity for this man. In my not so humble opinion, he's manipulative scum that squanders other people's money.
I don’t disagree with any of that. But the truth is out there. Carlos has done a tremendous job bringing facts to all of this. Yet, some aren’t willing to accept it, that Peters is a con man. Do you think there’s one single fact that will break through to them after allllll of the other ones?
As you said: he thrives on the attention, so why continue to give it to him? Fools will continue to give him money no matter what, but, he’s been reduced to an even smaller warehouse. At what point does Axamonitor call it day? When Peters is in jail? When Peters has no more donors? Are any of those things likely to happen? At what point does this story become Moby Dick vs Ahab? That didn’t turn out well for either.
I guess I do have pity for him. He’s been revealed for what he truly is, that will exist forever. And whatever he really had is gone. Why keep punching? What’s the point? The money isn’t coming back. The time isn’t coming back. Is it one of those sunk cost paradoxes? We’ve gone this far, let’s keep going?
And this is as much for myself as it is for Carlos. I’ve spent a lot of time on this thread. Mostly because I’m fascinated by copyright and IP. There’s not going to be a movie or an end to fools.
It sounds like you guys are now locked into a very personal battle, over whether or not fools will give an asshole money.
You are absolutely right in the argument. The facts and truth are on your side. However, does it matter to the people who continue to give him money?
Your work has mattered. But I have to ask, what to you does finished look like? How will you know you can wrap up the website? Or will it be locked in a fight forever like that one TOS episode I can’t remember, the two versions of the same guy from alternate dimensions?
