I just have to add tour UNFINISHED sets that someone else paid for and someone else put together

And sets that have had nothing filmed on them. It is one thing to go see used sets or houses "hey there is the house used for physho" but "there is the house they were going to use for psycho but never finished building" just doesn't have the same draw.

Well, LFIM is at it again. He is now promising a winter filming for the 2 part program and to release it at a special performance at comicon in 2019.

At this point, and this has only been discussed briefly, we think we are looking at two days of shooting in Los Angeles in Dec. – Jan. and then two days of shooting in Atlanta a month or two later. Our goal is to have everything in the can by end of February and a release date next summer. If all goes as planned, another Red carpet event at Comic Con will be planned.

My favorite part of the entire update is in the Q & A regarding fundraising when LFIM responds "Stay Tuned!" Can't believe how stupid these contributors are.

I bet fundraising starts at axacon. He has a captive audience so he'll make the big announcement they are starting fundraisinfg right then and there. Donate at the con and get a special limited edition axacon patch (*delivery in 2025*) for being one of the first to support axanarlite.

These people are already paying $80-100 to be there. perfect place to fish for money and don't tell them until they get there.

And the "we'd love to. all depends on how much money we raise" comment.

@jespah, don't get mad, but I need to correct some misinformation here...
With your obviously razor sharp insight, I am baffled as to why you needed public assistance with your fan script.
Two corrections of fact:
1) The script I have written is not a Star Trek fan script.
2) I have not sought public assistance in writing or editing it. (Not that there's anything wrong with doing so.)

Uh, Kevin Spacey is a man who's been accused by something like 19 people of various forms of sexual assault. One could make a pretty compelling argument that you shouldn't see his movie under any circumstances. Are you sure you aren't confusing Alec Peters with the character of the same name from Law & Order: SVU?

Comparing AP to alleged sexual predators isn't going to win you any converts. Not saying hes' a great guy, but you have enough material to work with that you shouldn't have to resort to this kinda thing.
Simple. I don't trust either person with money.

I'm turning my sci fi screenplay into a graphic novel via kickstarter. It's the only way I can pay the artist and self publish. Good idea?

No prob. And getting beta help with writing? 'Tis a smart thing to do.

Fair enough.
Okay, new twist. I have no idea who would even think to do this. Erik may not care for my work but that don't bother me and there is zero logic in attacking what he does to get to the LFIM.
Actually this is the stuff that drives me away from Fan films.

Yeah, that sucks. Seems the decision was to keep the Wikipedia article, though.

I've had various people volunteer to give me feedback on it, but most of them have been too busy to read the whole thing. (I got my best feedback so far reading it aloud over the phone to an old college friend.) Do you know a good place to recruit beta readers online?
